About this event

Join the PEI Coalition for Women's Leadership and Immigrant & Refugee Services Association for a friendly, informative and free workshop series for adult newcomers who do not (yet) have Canadian citizenship.

Learn how municipal, provincial and federal governments work, what elected officials do, and ways to get involved with local organizations and in community leadership. Enjoy a meal during every workshop. Travel and care reimbursements are available. We will provide a quiet colouring activity for children ages 5-12 during the event.

There are three opportunities to register. You may attend all three workshops, or register for individual workshops.
