We are pleased to share that the Coalition for Women’s Leadership worked on the development of the Government of PEI's Provincial Youth Cyberviolence Prevention Strategy.

Over the past two years, Coalition Project Manager Kari Kruse served on the working group that informed the development of this strategy, drawing from her work on technology-facilitated gender-based violence prevention and education projects.
In her address, Kari emphasized the importance of youth taking the lead in shaping the educational initiatives of the strategy, with adults serving in mentorship and support roles throughout implementation. Members of The Coalition’s Youth Civic Education Committee were also consulted and contributed their valuable perspectives to this strategy.
We’re proud to have been part of this collaborative effort to help prevent youth cyberviolence and amplify youth voices throughout the process. We look forward to following the strategy’s implementation and its impact on young people across PEI.
