Sarah spoke about why it is important to name technology-facilitated gender-based violence as violence, and explained how this impacts women and gender diverse individuals when getting involved in politics.
“The purpose of [technology facilitated gender-based violence] is to silence and exclude. And we want to equip women and gender diverse individuals with tools to protect themselves while at the same time advocating for systemic level changes.”
